We recently sold a used Range Rover, and as normal for customer reassurance we added our Automotion used car warranty. Unfortunately a few weeks later the vehicle was recovered in with engine failure. Although it had full history, including a service from us, we investigated the fault and found the crankshaft had broken into two pieces.
Land Rover quoted over £20k to remove the body and replace the engine. Due to the costs involved we decided to carry out the repair ourselves.
I have to say from initially reporting, to inspection and eventually authority. I can only say that we received nothing less than excellent service. A special thanks must go out to Alwyn Amour our development manager. He was involved with the claim from start to finish, he constantly kept me updated with the claim status until the repair was approved.
